Coordination and Dissemination

The project is coordinated at TU Dresden. Our results and activities will be disseminated within our scientific communities and to the general public.

Coordination and Dissemination

smellodi is made up of eight work packages (WPs). These will include two administrative WPs; one for coordination and management of the project’s activities and another WP for all efforts related to dissemination, communication, and exploitation. Throughout the lifetime of smellodi, there will be different stages of communication and dissemination. The overall strategy will be provided by a detailed plan for dissemination, communication, and exploitation within the first six months of the project (see this page for updates).

Within the first months, smellodi will focus on the internal and external communication of the project’s long-term vision and objectives. For example, our partners will present smellodi at local events at their institutes, e.g., via university newsletter or press releases. This will be an important part from the very start of the project, also, to recruit interested master and Ph.D. students. For communication to the general population, scientists, and industry, besides our public website, social media channels will be set up to reach a broad audience and communicate the relevance of the project.

In the further project progression, we will strengthen the focus on the communication of the scientific results towards the scientific community as well as industrial stakeholders. This will be achieved mainly via publication in top-level peer-reviewed open access journals, presentation at national and international conferences, at local and online workshops, and via press releases.
