M18 Meeting in Jena

From the 8th to 10th October 2023, the M18 meeting was held as a hybrid meeting hosted by the Friedrich-Schiller University Jena (FSU). After a get-together on Sunday evening, the program started on Monday, 9th October with an introduction by Prof. Ilona Croy and Dr. Alexander Croy (both FSU) and some administrative information by Beate Brenner (TUD-EPC). Afterwards, presentations on the work progress in the work packages 2, 3, 4, 5 as well as from widening partner IOCB Prague were given and future steps in the respective tasks were discussed. Finally, the status of dissemination, communication and exploitation in SMELLODI were presented and the day concluded with a general debate about future steps in the project. On Tuesday, the two remaining work packages 6 and 7 gave a status update on the development of the olfactory display and electronic nose devices. Finally, the meeting was concluded by a tour at the labs of the Clinical Psychology department of FSU-PSY showing the procedure of body odor collection and the rating study.
