Cheers – smellodi chosen for funding!

We can hardly believe it – our project „Smart electronic olfaction for body odor diagnostics“, smellodi for short, was chosen as one out of 56 projects for funding in the EIC Pathfinder Open project. In total, 868 project proposals have been submitted. smellodi will work on paving the path for a new era of digital olfaction. For that, we have gathered leading experts in materials science, chemistry, physics, computational modeling, psychology and medicine to work on this common goal. The consortium is made up of the coordinating institution, Technische Universität Dresden, University Hospital Dresden, Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, Tampere University, Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the company SmartNanotubes Technologies.

Now, our team is facing a lot of preparations – but first let’s cheer a bit in a virtual champaign meetup!
